Not really, because all spring life is based on a cycle rating; 1 time up and 1 time down = 1 cycle.
Better springs have higher cycle ratings.
However, lubricating garage door torsion springs is a good idea because it will keep the springs from rusting and flaking off rust onto your door as it goes up and down. It also helps keep them quiet.
