Cincinnati Door & Opener carries replacement remotes for the old Overhead Legacy openers.
You can pick one up at our office, or we can ship it to you. Remotes do need to be coded to your individual garage door opener. We can help with that by phone, or we can send a service truck to do it for you. A fee does apply for the trip out to code the remote.
If you need help with your garage system in the Greater Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky area, give us a call at (513) 821-5095.
Unfortunately, we don’t offer an e-commerce feature on our site for remotes and other replacement parts. There is just not enough demand locally to support it.
But we mail remotes weekly to residents in the Cincinnati area. Please call our office at 513-821-5095 with the model # of the Overhead Door Opener and how many remotes you need, and we’ll give you a price right over the phone.
Alternatively, you can pick them up at our offices.
Since we installed the garage doors and openers, we can look that up in our system by the address, and find out which remote will work with your opener.
Then we can send them to you, or you can come in and pick them up. Just call or office at (513) 821-5095 and we’ll work out the details.
If you need a new remote, give us a call at (513) 821-5095.
We’ll even program it for you. Doesn’t take us but a minute.
Or you can pick one up at our showroom at 11 Techview Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45215. Give us a call first so we can get the manufacturers information from you before you drive over to see us – we want to make sure we have the remote you need in stock.
ll remotes have their own coding and re-coding procedures. If you do not have the instructions, and live in the Greater Cincinnati area, you can call us and describe the unit. We can usually help you with that.
We will need to know the make and model of the remote and opener. It is usually pretty easy to do if you have the right information.
Yes, we have the most common garage door remote controls in-stock. And if by chance we don’t have yours in-stock, or your opener was manufactured after 1993, we can order it.
Anything older than that may be a “hit or miss” situation.
Step 1: Schedule a visit. One of our representatives will stop by for a low-key visit. Depending on the product, it may take 5 minutes, 30 minutes, or a little longer.
Step 2: Take your time. We do not expect you to make a decision while we are at your home or business. If you are ready, great, but most people take time to think through these purchases.
Step 3: Schedule the work. If you decide to move forward with Cincinnati Door & Window, just give us a call and we will schedule the work.
